Next year I will be unceremoniously kicked out of campus housing like a hippie at an Alabama family reunion. Also, to further complicate matters, my school is in an area that is experiencing something of a housing "crunch," and I may be abroad in the spring. So, I am looking to rent an apartment from a non-university landlord very soon.

The real question is, "how the fuck do you find an apartment anyway?" Its not like suburban Villanova, PA is chock full of apartment complexes or anything, and most of those complexes are already booked, and won't have a vacancy until May. Additionally, I'm looking for a location that is somewhat cheaper than a "nice" apartment, but less craptastic than a "cheap" apartment. Oh, what shall I do?

All I am looking for is a place to drink and sleep. That's all. It shouldn't be so hard.
