I work in a bank. That's right, in addition to spending two days a week slaving as an intern, I am spending the rest of my week slaving as a bank teller. It pays better than McDonalds, but it still manages to suck the life out of me like one of those super-vampires from the Blade movies (which kicked ass in that cheesy sort of way).

I'm learning all of the tricks of the trade, counting money quickly, not trusting people, being surly, I've got it all down, that's for sure. Customer service be damned, I've got your money, bitch, so you better take a second and decide whether or not you really want to be buying me $200 worth of beer.

Banks are pretty backwards institutions when you think about it. They open early and close before rush hour. The hours are only useful to customers who live on their parent's couch, or old people looking to withdraw $20 before heading out to the early-bird special at Denny's. Normal people just use the ATM anyway.

They should open later, so that I can sleep in. Just a thought.
