Gripe of the Day: A Taco Bell employee (the lowest rung on the fast-food ladder -- I mean, they work for Mexicans, how low can you go?) failed to provide me with the correct drink. Its not a hard job, they type a number into the computer, it tells them what to give someone and what it costs. The most difficult part of the job is to dispense the drink from the fountain...

Here is my question though: I would understand if I ordered a Wild Cherry Pepsi and they gave me any other brown carbonated beverage. However, how do you mistake Iced Tea for a Pepsi? Is that possible? One fizzes, the other does not. One tastes acceptable, the other one has added "guava" or something, making it taste like Rosie O'Donnell's ass (because she eats a lot of candy and twinkie-esque products -- you know, 'cuz she's fat -- so her ass would taste sweet).

Anyway, you'd think that after asking me four times or so what kind of drink I wanted in their oversized cup (which just screams "PLEASE LIKE US! WE GIVE YOU EXTRA FLUID!"), they could maybe hit the right goddamned button on the dispenser. When you're rockin' the drive-thru lane, it makes it all the more of a pain to get back in the fucking line to remind them that they're not even smart enough to get paid minimum wage.

If you work in fast food, that was your warning: pissing me off isn't worth $5.20 an hour. Ok?

update: For clarification, I ordered a Pepsi and got an Iced Tea. Not the other way around, I do not support the combining of tea and taco.
