The Assignment: An informative speech dealing with an item of importance.

My Thesis: The Masters of the Universe was a television show of pivotal importance in popular culture.

Thats right, I am, possibly as you read this, delivering a speech on the greatest of all of the violent cartoon series' of my childhood, Masters of the Universe. Which, although often the subject of crossover, should NEVER be confused with the likes of She-Ra: Princess of Power, the hairy-armpitted feminist's answer to the ultra manliness of He-Man and his allies.

He-man taught young boys one of the most important lessons there is: jacked men with big-ass swords tend to get their way. What else is there to know, really? I mean, sure, its a story about a barbarian-looking dude battling it out with some crazy jacked skeleton for Castle Greyskull, but as you can see, its also a lesson about life.

Regardless, I've got to get busy preparing my outline. Main points are to include: 1) Skeletor: Evil Bastard or Whiney Bitch, 2) What kind of man has a green Tiger as a pet anyway? and 3) Wow, dude, your sister is hot, in that two-dimensional sort of way...
