All Your Exam are Belong to Us...

So I take my calc exam today. I did a little bit of studying, but studying for a calc exam is like bringing a tub of vaseline to an ass-raping - sure, it makes it hurt a little less, but damned if it isn't uncomfortable as hell anyway.

Anyway, so, one down, three to go. Philosophy on Monday should be entertaining, there are at least 6 texts for that class. I have read none of them - this has been a trend this semester though. Today, during my Calc 2 exam, it occured to me, that I had opened up my calculus text for the first time... ever. Talk about a rip-off.

Which further reminds me of the monetary-rape that the bookstore (I'm sorry, the University Shop...) is about to perpetrate on all us students. Keep in mind that unlike at some schools, this is not a Barnes and Noble bookstore that is giving us shit deals on buy-backs, this is a Villanova-run establishment. Its like getting mugged by your parents. Then again - when was the last time a University DIDN'T try to shake down its students for money... and this one is a Catholic university. I'm currently undertaking a project to contact all of my "stalkers" I'm up to approx. 9 of them. Some of them have already been contacted. All I want to know is, not HOW they got my screenname - I give that out pretty freely - but why they didn't IM me once they had it. Why is it so much more acceptable to just lurk and read people's profiles - occasionally clicking through to their weblog, than it is to just say "hi"?
... and people call me anti-social...
