Bookstores are the Devil

Neglecting to Study for Finals till 1:30am: priceless

Now that I've ripped off an overly abused joke (that my roommate can't seem to get enough of...), I will tell you a tale of a chemistry textbook, one that cost upwards of $100. This was a very special text book, as it was only used 3 times, each of which were under quite a bit of duress. When the day came to sell this text back to the book store, its owner skipped with glee at the thought of getting even some of his money back... but the evil Jim Carey look-alike book-buyer refused to give this strapping young lad any money at all for his text. "It's a goner," he claimed, "new edition came out a few months ago." The owner of the text was mightily upset and stormed out of the book store, taking his measly $20 and his now-more-useless-than-ever chemistry text with him to contemplate his revenge.

In other news, I now have but one exam left to fail. I can only hope that 50-point curves are not out of the question with any of my professors. Although I fear that in at least one of my classes, I might become the "messiah" (who fails for everyone else's sins, thereby taking up the low slot on the bell curve). Ah well, there's always next semster.

Alright, time to go dig through my professors' trash, see if I can't find anything worth blackmailing them with.

...Just Kidding...

By the way, I hear this guy is one hell of a party animal...
