Monday, Monday, so good to me...

I never did get around to doing that reading. Oh well.

Today I learned that I officially hate theatre majors. Thats right, HATE them. Why, you ask? Perhaps its because they take too damn long - for example, today I walk into the theatre department office, all I need is to get Father Paul, the department chair, to sign off on a course, so I can take it over the summer, a process that will take less than 3 minutes. This, however, ended up taking me almost an hour... Why? because of a theatre major who decided she had to spend 30 minutes chatting, asking the secretary 97 different, yet unrelated questions. Were any of them questions that couldn't have been looked up in the catalog? no. Then she goes in to see Father Paul before me, and makes me wait another 20 minutes, while she chews his ear off about some lame-ass project of hers. Great. When the secretary asked if it was a project for her class, she replied, no, it was just for fun. So an hour of my life was taken by a theatre major today. An hour.

I would complain and say that I want that hour back, but the more I think about it, the more I realize that I probably would have squandered that hour away anyway, either sitting on the computer, or perhaps sleeping. God knows I wouldn't have accomplished anything worthwhile.
